Web Analytics Manager
OMP is looking for a Web Analytics Manager to track performance of the client’s online marketing activities. The manager will serve as an integral part of OMP’s online marketing and analytics team by tracking performance, developing key metrics, making recommendations for improvements and contributing to our client’s online strategy development. The manager will work collaboratively with our internal analyst and our clients to define metrics that indicate end-user behavior and indicates areas for usability improvements.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes web site performance, trends and click stream path analysis activity to provide business insights leading to fundamental improvements to our client’s online activism and fundraising goals.
- Create, update, distribute and present web analytic reports on regular and ad hoc basis to stakeholders
- Interpret reports, discover areas of concern, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate recommendations
- Integrates web analytics with other marketing data to develop integrated marketing insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reports, metrics, and data needs; help internal stakeholders determine appropriate metrics to measure goals
- Assist clients with proper set up and use of a variety of analytic systems to ensure tracking, reporting and analytics are functioning optimally
- Produce and maintain concise, understandable documentation describing business needs and processes used to create reports
- Identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements
Skills
- Related four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research.
- 3 - 5 years of working with standard web analytics systems, particularly Google Analytics
- Experience creating and distributing web analytic reports
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
- Ability to use multiple data reporting applications to efficiently extract data
- Must have a thorough understanding and experience with web analytics, web metrics, data tagging, site measurement tools
- Proven methodology for using metrics to help business stakeholder make strategic decisions that improve website statistics, as well as revenue
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and wants to be a contributor to the group
